How it works

From install to verified lab in about five minutes

1

Install and sign in

Add the extension to Chrome or Edge and sign in with your Microsoft account. It runs as a side panel next to the Azure portal.

2

Deploy a scenario

Pick a lab and click Set up. The starting environment builds in your subscription; some labs plant a fault for you to find.

3

Do the work, get verified

Work in the portal with full guidance, hints, or goals only. Check my work shows what passes; one button cleans everything up after.

What you'll need

Two things, both free to start

A Microsoft account and an Azure subscription. A free Azure account covers the whole catalog.
  • Most labs use free resources; the few that bill hourly are labeled, cost a few cents, and include cleanup reminders.
  • Free trials restrict some VM sizes by region; the extension checks availability before deploying and suggests what works.
  • Use a personal training subscription, not your employer's environment.

Sync progress to your dashboard
